The most common problem with customer installed screens is the corners lifting.
You need to keep pressure on the corners for at least 10 minutes to make sure they are stuck.
I use clamps like the picture above.
I also use a bit of heat on the plastic and on the new screen to warm it up, glue does not like cold.
The second most common problem is the ribbon cable. Make sure it is in all the way and straight. A crooked cable will have the same ghost touches and weird button pushing as a bad screen, Check it twice.
