How can I tell if this will work on my radio? Here is a quick way to check.

This is for the Harman Kardon stereo only in 2018 and 2019 Subaru Outback and Legacy.

The total cost of repair and return shipping UPS ground with insurance is $499

If you have a Harman Kardon 2018 or 2019 Subaru Outback and Legacy with a broken touchscreen (almost all of them are broken) this is what you need. The dealer will charge you $1500 or more to fix it, we can replace the screen for a lot less.

• A permanent fix for the delamination
• This is a NON-(Subaru) factory part, the delamination will not happen again, this part is made in a different factory to better specifications. If you buy a Subaru Replacement radio the delamination has a chance to happen again.
• Short turnaround time, 2-3 days from the time we receive it to the time it goes back to UPS
• You need to remove the radio and send it in for repair. 
• This does not fix the LCD screen, if you have lines on your display screen or pixels that are dead, this will not fix that problem. Contact us if you need this fixed also. 
• Your car will operate without the radio installed. You will need to plug in the black box from under the radio and the metal module underneath that to have things function correctly. We just need the radio itself. No brackets or modules.

Subaru has had a problem with the 2018 and 2019 radios touchscreens delaminating. So much so that they lost a lawsuit and had to replace them. But many of you have a car that is out of warranty and no-longer eligible for replacement.

The Dealers want $1500 or more to replace it, that is crazy. Many people are just living with it. We have a solution. 

We replace the touchscreen with a new one, for much less than the full replacement cost. Our touchscreen meets all factory standards and works exactly the same.
